I’m not one for Valentine’s day, but today was nice. I met with a new family that I’ll be babysitting for, I worked my entertainment shift that included arts ‘n’ crafts with the kids and I caught a live performance by The Swellers.
Nicest of all, I had a valentine. One of my best friends in Florida left me a voicemail claiming the title. Such a darling.

Finally went to a show last night! (Besides the Monday night routine, of course.) I didn’t know any of the music before going, but I had a good time. We only caught two bands. Wonderful day today. Toured around, went to Alcatraz, met more people, ate more food… The works. I’ll try to get pictures or at least a video up soon. Akeem leaves tomorrow.
